Therefore i oppose any further expansion of this industry and the lining of further fat cats pockets at our grandchildren's expense. |

| 18 | Emily Armistead | Climate change the biggest threat facing the planet, and could potentially cost the lives and homes of billions. If we are serious about preventing the worst effects of global warming, we need to make massive cuts to our emissions within the next 10-20 years. An expanision of UK airports would be a huge hindrance to this, encouraging a growth of air tavel, where a reduction is needed. As the government positions itself to be a champion of tackling climate change, I encourage it strongly to not allow an expansion of the UK's airports. I will personally take action to prevent such policies being followed and to stop airport extensions from being built. |

We're going to have to think more carefully and travel more responsibly. Flying around the world is not an inalienable right, it's a privilege. If it's causing so much damage (often to the very places we fly to) then we should slow down a bit. There's no need for anymore runways! |
