No. Name Statement
41 Doug Airport expansion is proposed to make profit for the few whilst blighting the lives of so many. All other reasons are without justification. If we the people were the main consideration then small regional airports distributing the pain as well as the gain would be the plan
40 Rick Rolt I cannot believe the amount of ill-judged trust that Doncaster's politicians have put into the supposed economic resurgence of the town based on the development of Finningley airport. Our Mayor claims that this is a green town and our mp's support the building of major road links to make the airport viable, and no one has been allowed to debate the issue properly. When the true cost of unbridled aviation expansion hits home and the bubble bursts I wonder who these fools will blame!!!!!
39 tompidoe Toooooooo Much= Toooooooo much!!
38 swampy we do not need our airports expanding. It is bad for the environment and it also detroys our countryside which is always the subject of human devastation.
37 Phil Tonks Not only are we polluting our atmosphere with aircraft fuel, but it is being actively encouraged with the growth of budget airlines. Expansion of airports will lead to more pollution and congestion on the ground as more and more people try to access these facilities. I fully support the camapign against the expansion of "Wolverhampton Business Airport" (It should be its original name Halfpenny Green Airport) being led by Wolverhampton Airport Action Group (WAAG), in which a large area of green belt land is under threat - and what for? Simply greed.
And just a note to the sad little individuals on here who can't construct a serious debate and resort to cheap littler insults: Grow up.
36 Flo Deadman There are more than enough aeroplanes polluting the atmosphere as it is, we should be looking at reducing the amount of air traffic not increasing it.
35 MARK ANDERSON I am opposed to the new labour scottish occupation 'gov't's' plans for England fullstop. Whether it be on airports, regional assemblies or anything else. SEND BLAIR AND ALL THE REST BACK TO WALES AND SCOTLAND

34 Delaney Given the commitment of countries around the world, including Britain in reducing emissions to meet the Kyoto Protocol, airport expansion is a counterproductive policy. It holds significant environmental consiquences which will mitigate efforts for conservation.
33 Martin Porter They managed to dig me out of my tunnel to build Manchester Airport's Second runway.

They're not building number three
32 joss earth first!
