I could understand such a move in the fifties, but today we cannot afford to ignore our effect on the environment. Just walk down the street and smell how dirty the air is. More cheap holidays means more running away from our problems. But you don't solve a problem by making a bigger problem. If we don't face up to reality now, we're only giving ourselves more work to do later. |
