No. Name Statement
2431 Stacey I am apposed to airport expansion, due to the environmental damage caused by construction, noise and air pollution and the fuel consumption this expansion will cause. In the event that the Government chooses to ignore the widespread and well-informed opposition, and refuses to back away from its expansion policy, I will take personal action to block airport expansion and to prevent companies from supporting and funding it. I will not vote for any Government that chooses to ignore such vital information and continue the exploitation and destruction of our already dying planet.
2430 Anton Browne It's over! Time for something new.
2429 Adrian Hastings I am concerned that expanding air travel will have a negative impact on the environment both here and more generally.
2428 Jo Air flights already take up huge amounts of space, resources and clean air!! Expansion should be stopped and work undertaken to make current aircraft and assopciated services more environmentally friendly before it is too late
2427 Karel Stoops Every expansion is a crime against humanity en our blobe
2426 Amanda The government and airport authorities need to develop a transport policy and system that is less damaging to the environment and respects local populations more.
2425 Naomi Sadler All environmentally responsible people should oppose the government's plans to expand the UK's airports.
2424 aimi we need to begin to see the enviroment and quality of life for all as a cetral issue in business and politics. As it is, these issues are practically ignored in favour of financial enterprize.
2423 Helen Parry Global warming is a terrifying prospect and, rather than encouraging it through airport expansion and the consequent increase in air traffic, we should be doing everything in our power to avert it.
2422 Tom Martin Think big, think long-term. What on earth are we doing pumping resources and energy into a doomed industry that is totally unsustainable. This is madness and I am encouraged that I don't seem to be the only one who thinks so. We must champion life not money.
