| 2467 | Fiona | It's appalling that a Government which claims to be 'green' has done so much in allowing Airports and Airlines to further expand and pollute, both locally and globally. It really does seem to be all about money after all - and I foolishly believed that Labour were concerned with 'the greater good', but they really are as bad as the Tories where corporate greed is the be all and end all. Their most recent White Paper on the future of Air Transport showed appalling disregard for our environment and for the public health of all the tax payers who are, after all, subsidising this industry - whether they like it or not. It would be wise for all those to put their faith in economic growth to consider that once our planet has been destroyed, money will be worthless. |
